Happy New Year! Â Sorry the January newsletter is a bit late going out, but we had such a wonderfully busy holiday season we were too busy caring for your animals and the newsletter just had to wait! Â 2012 was a great year for Dublin Creek Kennel. Â From starting our own 501c3 non-profit rescue organization, the Dublin Creek Animal Foundation to our gorgeous new water play yard we would consider it a wildly successful year! Â As always, thanks to all of you for all your confidence and support.
Has it been cold or what? Â Hey, did you know that Dublin Creek Kennel is fully climate controlled? Â That’s right, we are both heated for the cold months and air conditioned for the warmer months. Â Other than when we clean our boarding dogs always have access to their indoor area. Â Speaking of cleaning, did you know that all of the dogs are brought inside while we do our twice daily run cleaning? Â This might not be something that would even cross most people’s minds, but it is something that we want you to know. Â We never hose down our outdoor runs with the dogs in them. Â Hosing by hand or with an automatic hosing system can be frightening to the dogs in the runs and we don’t ever want our guests to feel uncomfortable or afraid.
Most of you know about our Facebook page as evidenced by our 650+ page followers, but we have now created a second page just for the Dublin Creek Animal Foundation. Â We will still share our rescue dogs on both pages, but the rescue page will be dedicated to the organization. Â Please check it out and like it here! Â You may usb car charger for electronic cigarette passthrough not be looking for a new dog but please help our rescue animals by sharing our Facebook page and letting people know about our adoptables!

Help Our Rescue Animals!
As you know we are committed to giving back to our community by taking in and finding new loving homes for rescue animals. Â Of course we would love for you to adopt one, but if you can’t, maybe you can help in another way. Â We are always desperate for volunteers to walk or play with our foster dogs. Â These dogs are so grateful for the one on one time that a nice walk or play session offers them. Â It is more rewarding than you know to make a homeless dog’s day. Â Please let us know if you would like to volunteer. Even an hour a week commitment can make a HUGE difference in a rescue dog’s life.
Of course, rescuing animals is expensive and we are always in need of monetary donations as well. Â Finally, blankets, dog beds, new collars, new toys are all welcome donations as well.
